2.4G receiver: reset, pair again and download the configurator

For 2.4G receivers supporting the BIOI WCH configuration protocol. This is not a Bluetooth pairing or keyboard flashing tool. For normal connection, select the keyboard's 2.4G channel and plug in the receiver. Use this tool when old pairing blocks connection or receiver configuration needs to be restored.

Download and run bioi-dongle-tool.exe directly on Windows, and follow its console menus. Python is not required. Only a Windows build is currently provided; there are no published macOS / Linux packages here.

Product options are BIOI Command 65 PE, Manta 40 Rev2, BIOI F60w, BIOI Manta 60. These are tool configuration options, not a promise that any WCH receiver is compatible or that keyboard firmware is interchangeable. Ortho users who cannot confirm the correct receiver profile must not guess when restoring defaults.

Use the tool

  1. Keep the keyboard connected over USB. Remove other similar receivers and plug in only the receiver you intend to configure.
  2. Start the configurator normally and select its matching product model.
  3. Wait for a successful scan and handshake. If multiple targets are detected, remove the extras and scan again. Do not force commands to unrelated HID devices.
  4. Select 2 Remove pairing information, or 1 Factory reset after confirming the model.
  5. Check the operation and confirm when prompted. Wait for a success message. On failure, check the USB port and whether the receiver supports the configuration protocol.
  6. Unplug the receiver after completion, then pair again in the following order.

Pair again after resetting

  1. Leave the receiver unplugged. Select 2.4G / CH0 on the keyboard; TriChord / Command65 PE can use both Shift keys + Tab.
  2. Press PAR once (or hold both Shift keys and press X twice within 1 second) to enable pairing on the current channel.
  3. Immediately plug the receiver into the computer and wait a few seconds.
  4. Test typing, switch to USB and back to 2.4G. Clearing all Bluetooth slots is unnecessary for this step.

If it still fails, confirm 2.4G rather than BLE is selected and the tool completed successfully. Use keyboard CLR only as a final troubleshooting step; all wireless devices must be paired again afterwards.
