Identify Your Keyboard & PCB
Before downloading firmware, confirm two things: keyboard product name and PCB version.
Step 1: Determine the product name
Most users already know which keyboard they own. Product names (G60, Manta, Skog Reboot, F60, etc.) are the starting point for choosing firmware. If you are not sure, check:
- The badge or silkscreen on the bottom of the case
- The order or product page
- The seller's model description

Step 2: Confirm the PCB version
The same keyboard name can use different PCBs across batches, revisions, layouts, or wireless modules. Firmware cannot be mixed between PCBs.
Check PCB silkscreen first
The PCB usually prints the model and revision text, for example:

Then check structural differences
If the silkscreen is unclear, use one-glance structural differences:
- Layout: 60% / 65% / 40% / Ortholinear
- Socket: hotswap or solderable
- Wireless module: an extra wireless chip next to the USB port
- USB position and MCU package
Wireless backend: legacy BLE firmware or DuoChord?
Some keyboards (G60, Kamilia, Command65, Manta AVR PCBs, Skog Reboot) support two wireless backends on the same PCB:
- Legacy BLE firmware: an nRF51822 module running legacy Adafruit Bluefruit LE firmware
- DuoChord: wireless solution with five pairing slots and OTA

When you really cannot confirm
Do not guess. Flashing the wrong firmware can leave the keyboard unusable. Instead:
- Check whether the keyboard connects over USB
- Look at the name shown in VIA / Vial, or the VID/PID in the OS device info
- Cross-check the identification info on the
Keyboards & PCBspage - If still unsure, contact the seller or maintainer with a clear PCB photo
Common traps
- Firmware for the same model with different revs cannot be mixed (e.g. F60 rev2 vs F60 revM).
- Ortholinear and standard-layout firmware cannot be mixed.
- Skog Reboot rev A and rev B have different MCUs, RGB drivers, and firmware — do not mix.
- Command65 and Command65 PE use different wireless solutions — do not mix.
