F60 rev1
Product relationship
The F60 series is a bare-PCB product line with no separate keyboard layer. F60 rev1 is the first hardware revision of the family, a wired PCB.
Quick identification
- PCB silkscreen:
F60 rev1. - MCU: ATmega32U4.
- Layout: multiple 60% layouts (ANSI / ISO / HHKB / arrow / tsangan).
- Connectivity: USB only (wired).
- Flashing:
.hex+ Atmel DFU.
Do-not-mix warning
- F60 rev1 firmware cannot be mixed with F60 rev2 / rev3 / revM / F60w.

.hex), incompatible with TinyUF2 (.uf2). - Do not flash rev2/rev3/revM UF2 builds or the revM magnetic-switch build onto rev1.

Recommended firmware download
Firmware, VIA JSON definitions, and SHA-256 checksums are available in the Download Center (see
Firmware Downloads).
First use / flashing prerequisites
- Download the
.hexfirmware matchingF60 rev1. - Enter bootloader (see
Wired Flashing). - Flash with
qmk flashor QMK Toolbox. - Re-plug and test key input and layer switching.
Common features
- Flashing: see
Wired Flashing (DFU / TinyUF2). - PCB identification: see
Identify Your Keyboard & PCB.
Default keymap
The default keymap provides a standard 60% layout. Exact Fn-layer placement follows the firmware you flash; inspect and edit it in VIA / Vial.
Model-specific features
F60 rev1 has no wireless or magnetic-switch features. It focuses on multi-layout compatibility and a stable wired experience.
Troubleshooting
- Flashing failures: see
Troubleshooting / USB & bootloader. - Cannot enter DFU: make sure you use the Atmel DFU toolchain, not UF2 copy-to-drive.
Version compatibility
- Hardware revision: rev1 (only).
- Config tools: VIA / Vial.
- Firmware: QMK / Vial builds for the
F60 rev1target.
