F60 rev2

Product relationship​

The F60 series is a bare-PCB product line with no separate keyboard layer. F60 rev2 is the MX mechanical hot-swap version of the family.

Quick identification​

  • PCB silkscreen: F60 rev2.
  • MCU: STM32F401.
  • Connectivity: USB only (wired).
  • Switches: Cherry MX-compatible mechanical (hot-swap).
  • Flashing: .uf2 + TinyUF2.

Do-not-mix warning​

  • F60 rev2 firmware cannot be mixed with F60 rev1 / rev3 / revM / F60w.
  • rev2 uses TinyUF2 (.uf2), incompatible with rev1's Atmel DFU (.hex).
  • Do not flash the revM magnetic-switch firmware into rev2 (different switch hardware).

First use / flashing prerequisites​

  1. Download the .uf2 firmware matching F60 rev2.
  2. Enter bootloader (see Wired Flashing).
  3. Copy the .uf2 file to the mounted USB drive.
  4. After auto reboot, test key input and layer switching.

Common features​

Default keymap​

There is an Fn key in the bottom-right corner (MO(1) by default, hold for layer 2). While holding Fn:

  • Number row 1-0 becomes F1-F10.
  • - and = become F11 and F12.
  • W / A / S / D become arrow keys (Up / Left / Down / Right).

Model-specific features​

F60 rev2 has no wireless features. It focuses on hot-swap mechanical switches and convenient UF2 flashing.
