F60w
Product relationship
The F60 series is a bare-PCB product line. F60w is the wireless (Trichord) version of the family, using the STM32L412 + CH592 wireless architecture.
Quick identification
- PCB silkscreen:
F60w. - MCU: STM32L412.
- Connectivity: USB / 2.4G / BLE (triple mode).
- Flashing:
.uf2+ TinyUF2. - Default Bluetooth name:
BIOI F60w.
Do-not-mix warning
- F60w firmware cannot be mixed with F60 rev1 / rev2 / rev3 / revM.
- F60w is a wireless model (Trichord), incompatible with the wired F60 series.
- Do not flash revM magnetic-switch or rev2 mechanical-switch firmware into F60w.

Recommended firmware download
Firmware, VIA JSON definitions, and SHA-256 checksums are available in the Download Center (see
Firmware Downloads).
First use / migration prerequisites
- Download the
.uf2firmware matchingF60w. - Enter bootloader (see
Wired Flashing). - Copy the
.uf2file to the mounted USB drive. - After auto reboot, test typing first, then wireless switching and pairing.
F60w uses the Trichord wireless architecture and is not part of the legacy BLE firmware → DuoChord migration.

Default placement notes
- In your exported F60w docs,
2.4G/BLE/PAR/CLR/TOGare placed on common Fn-layer positions. - In sample keymaps from this repository, these keys may appear on different layers.
- Bottom line: use the actual VIA/Vial layout from the firmware you flashed and move keys manually if needed.
Power key combo (PWR)
F60w uses two fixed keys in the typing area for power control, not affected by VIA remapping:
- Position: CapsLock + Enter.
- Action: hold both for about 3 seconds to power on or off.
- Note: power-on/off sounds follow the global Audio Toggle setting.
Model-specific features
- Trichord triple mode (USB / 2.4G / BLE).
- Fixed PWR combo.
- Command mode (advanced):
Command mode shortcuts (advanced)
Hold both Shift keys first, then press a command key:
Command key Action Tab Switch to 2.4G Q / W / E / R / T Switch to BLE1 / BLE2 / BLE3 / BLE4 / BLE5 U Switch to USB C Quick toggle between USB and wireless X Put the current channel into pairing mode Z Clear pairing data (double-press to confirm) V Check battery level (percentage output)
First pairing checklist
- Press 2.4G or BLE1–BLE5 to select the target channel.
- If the device is not discoverable, press PAR to force pairing mode.
- If pairing behaves inconsistently, press CLR twice within 1 second and pair again.
