Manta40 rev2 is part of the Manta keyboard family, the first-class Trichord PCB
of the family. The same family also includes legacy AVR PCBs (see
Manta Family Overview)).

Do-not-mix warning
- Manta40 rev2 and Manta40 rev2 Ortho firmware cannot be mixed.
- Manta40 rev2 (Trichord) and Manta legacy AVR PCBs (Bluefruit/DuoChord) firmware cannot be mixed.
- Do not flash F60w or other Trichord model firmware onto Manta40 rev2.

First use / migration prerequisites
- Download the
.uf2firmware matchingManta40 rev2. - Enter bootloader (see
Wired Flashing). - Copy the
.uf2file to the mounted USB drive. - After reboot, test typing, layers, wireless switching, and pairing.
Manta40 rev2 uses the Trichord wireless architecture and is not part of the legacy BLE firmware → DuoChord migration.

First pairing checklist
- Press a channel key (
2.4GorBLE1–BLE5). - If discovery fails, press
PAR. - If connections are mixed up, run
CLR(double-press confirm) and pair again.
